Tucked into the bottom corner of Fifehead Woods this three and a half acre specimen lake is stocked with a good head of Common and Mirror carp ranging from 10lb to 32lb, and Catfish up to mid 30lb. This lake has just received a further stocking of 100 carp from 12lb to 20lb grown on site in our own rearing ponds. We expect some good catch reports from Woodland Lake this year. We are very proud of the stock as the fish vary greatly in appearance and scale pattern and are extremely hard fighting.

Meadow Lake at four and a half acres has quite a different aspect and its two islands promise to become a very attractive feature as the newly planted shrubs begin to mature. This lake is heavily stocked with a huge head of good Commons and Mirrors, following recent restocking. After netting this winter to check on fish growth, we have now found the average size to be 10lb – 20lb, with fish up to low 20’s recorded. We expect some spectacular action from Meadow Lake this year with our hard fighting strain of carp set to put some real bends in those rods. Up to 20 fish in a session were recorded last summer, so who knows what will happen this year.

Rush Lake
Tickets:
£7 per day
£14 per 24 hours
£5 per evening (5pm – sunset)
£5 Junior (under 12 - must be accompanied by an adult)
At three acres Rush is the smallest of the three lakes. After a great opening year on Rush Lake, our fishermen could not say enough good things about it, in particularly the Tench fishing, with fish up to 81/2 lb recorded and up to 40 tench in a session. Pleasure bags of 150lb are not uncommon, made up of Tench, Bream and Carp. Crucians and Roach to 2lb are not unusual either. After some successful matches last year we will be holding more this year and expect the good results to keep on coming.
Rules:
Barbless hooks only.
Keep nets only to be used in matches.
Carp must be kept separately from silver fish with the use of two keepnets.
No fish to be moved.
All juniors to be accompanied by an adult unless by prior arrangement.
Do not touch the electric fence.
Anyone found breaking these rules will be asked to leave.
